THANK YOU FIRE FIGHTERS!

A total of 367 wildfires were burning Thursday across the state, most ignited by lightning, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

That figure was down from a peak of roughly 1,500 fires just a few days ago.

In all, the wildfires have scorched more than 790 square miles and destroyed at least 65 structures since June 20, the department said.
The fires themselves hadnt made much ground since Wednesday, but some made progress towards containment.
The Iron Complex was at 20,704 acres, with 25 percent containment, the Lime Complex was 37,448 acres with 41 percent containment and the Hells Half complex was at 2,876 acres, with 50 percent containment.

Of all the fires currently burning in California, there has been one death reported.
Volunteer Firefighter Recruit Bob Roland, 63, of Anderson Valley died on Thursday while working on the Mendocino Unit Lightning Complex fires in Mendocino County.
The photos I have taken are from the Shasta-Trinity National Forest taken along Highway 299 in the Shasta Trinity National Forest. Throughout this trip there was heavy smoke haning in the air. Sometimes making it hard to breath. Alot of the photos were taken threw the windows because of this. A few times we were insane enough to get out to get a good photo.

I am also submitting a group of photos taken at Paradise, California. The fires there are contained and they were able to safe the city and most of the homes. But the foothills show alot of devistation.

THESE PHOTOS WILL NOT STAY ON MY SITE. JUST SHOWING A SMALL PORTION OF THE DEVASTATION OCCURING IN CALIFORNIA AT THE MOMENT.

THANK YOU AGAIN TO THE FIRE FIGHTERS!
