I haven't been on Devianart since 2009 (I think). Wow! That is a long time. I don't even remember how to navigate around on here or do many of the cutsy little things I used to do. That will take some time for me to remember. Hope you are patient with me. Things have changed for me, and I don't get to travel around as much as I used to. I also will not have as many photos to post.
Since I didn't have the opportunity to take the photos, I had to find a creative outlet for myself. I found art. I am involved in art journaling and mixed media art. I am taking some classes and belong to a couple of groups. Sometimes I participate in some challenges. So I thought I would post some of my crafts and art work here. I am a relative newbie as I have only been doing this since. March of this year. I will still post some of my current photos when I have the chance. I am making an effort to get out and take my camera with me more often.
So here goes! Very nervous about putting my art on here since some of you are quite wonderful artist. But will be brave and do it anyway.

Changes

Changes in your life are always hard. Doesn't matter if it a change you want, or a change forced on you by the outside world. A change for the good or a change for the worse. It is an adjustment.
So part of the changes that I have made in my life is that I have joined two photography clubs. They are in my local area and they have events where they go out and photo our beautiful state. Going to house sit
OK I'm about ready to go house sit at Patty's wonderful little house! Very excited! I am also finally starting to feel better. I had pneumonia and after that my asthma as a lot worse than it usually is. I have been unable to go outside which means I cann't go do my favorite thing...shoot photos! I have been feeling very claustrophobic! :crying: My coughing is much better the last 3 days, so I am going to venture out and see if I can find something to shoot!! :dance: Think good thoughts!
Change is sometimes hard
OK I'm back. At least I'm trying to be. There have been some changes in my life and this site is directly related to some of the changes. I have found it hard to be on here. But I will go forth and succeed! What a wimp!!! I no longer have anyone to go out and shoot photo's with me so I will have to just do it myself.
I am really sorry, but I had over 10,000 deviations and 2,00 messages. I couldn't face it so I deleted most of them. :( Sorry....don't be mad, I just couldn't go through them all. I still have 378 messages...that is one month worth of Journals to look at that I didn't delete. And I fav'd and collected some of the new

There is no wrong way or right way to do art, just go with whatever feels right. Sometimes you will fall in love with your pieces sometimes you will hate them. When the latter happens try to resist destroy them. LOL They will grow on you or you will meet someone who the piece speaks to on a whole different level just as it is.
Sometimes you will post something that you feel is perfect but few will fave, sometimes you will post stuff you are not to pleased about & it will receive several faves. That's just the way it is.
I do miss your lovely photos, but as artist we evolve, seeing the beauty of the things around us or sharing the worlds within us.
I am so glad you are back. I have lost so many friends (on this site) through the years. Some come & go, others never come back, some I pissed off (I have no filter & say what comes to mind) & others have passed away (we visit in my dreams).
